GSEBuilder("we," "us," "our") provides an AI tool that helps Georgia K-12 educators generate GSE-aligned classroom resources. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. GSEBuilder is a service for educators and is not directed to children.

Information we collect

  • Account information— your name and email address, plus a securely hashed password, when you create an account.
  • Content you generate — the grade, subject, GSE standards, and options you enter, and the resources we generate from them.
  • Payment information— if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Usage and analytics— aggregated usage data via Google Analytics (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

Cookies and analytics

We use two kinds of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary— a session cookie that keeps you logged in. The site does not function without it, so it is always on.
  • Analytics— Google Analytics (GA4) sets cookies that help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. These are not required to use GSEBuilder.

Your choices and opt-out

You can opt out of analytics at any time:

How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the service (generate resources, manage your account).
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.
  • To understand and improve how GSEBuilder is used (analytics).

Service providers we share with

We share information only with the providers needed to run the service:

  • AI model providers— the resource options you submit are sent to trusted third-party AI providers to generate your content. We may change which providers or models we use as the technology improves.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Google Analytics — aggregate usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data security and retention

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes — never in plain text. We retain your account data while your account is active; email us to request deletion.

Children's privacy

GSEBuilder is intended for teachers and other adult educators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Resources you generate are for classroom use and are not student accounts.

Your Georgia privacy rights

Under applicable state and federal privacy laws, you may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data (we do neither). To exercise these rights, email support@teksbuilder.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
